How to Wash Your Graphic Tees So They Last Forever

You just dropped \$80 on a limited run heavyweight tee. Do not ruin it in one cycle. Laundry is the enemy of streetwear if done wrong.

The Golden Rules

1. Inside Out. Always.

Friction against the drum (or other clothes) causes the print to crack. Turning it inside out protects the art.

2. Cold Water Only

Heat breaks down the fibers and the ink. Wash on Cold/30°C. It also prevents shrinking.

3. Hang Dry

NEVER use the dryer. The heat will shrink the cotton and crack the puff print immediately. Hang dry or lay flat.

Special Care for Puff Print

Puff print is 3D and delicate.

* Ironing: Never iron directly on the puff. Turn inside out and use low heat if absolutely necessary.

* Folding: Don’t crease across the print.

The "Freezer" Hack

Got a smell but the tee isn’t dirty? Bag it (airtight) and freeze it overnight. Kills bacteria without the wear and tear of washing.
